Mingle with the three MD AIR artists and learn how each one is disrupting the country’s current art landscape. Enter the Kaleidoscope: A Glimpse into the Origins of OPUS Founded in 2017, OPUS is a pioneering art and music festival that transforms the legendary Merriweather Post Pavilion and surrounding Symphony Woods into a surreal theatre of discovery, imagination and wonder. Over the last two years, the unique festival has showcased 70 internationally recognized artists and hosted over 30,000 attendees. Matthew Schreiber is a visual artist working in the fields of light and space. He dissects the language and history of holography to explore sacred geometry, mysticism and spectacle. In 2018, artist Matthew Schreiber was commissioned to create a monumental 75-foot laser installation in the forest and now for Enter the Kaleidoscope, he is premiering a new laser installation, so you can have the chance to experience the magic of OPUS all over again.
